It’s Your Theme Song
To Do:
1. Choose one song that reflects your year. Take your time and reflect!
* It must reflect several thoughts or feelings you have had over the year. (For example: Happy by Pharrell if you had an awesome year.)
* It should reflect your personality. (Example: Happy songs if you’re really upbeat or slow songs if you’re thoughtful and relaxed)
* Think of a band or singer that you really like and read through their song lyrics for inspiration.
2. Print off a copy of the lyrics.
3. Write an explanatory paragraph of why this song fits your experiences this year.
4. Choose one line or passage that really emphasizes with you and elaborate on that.
5. Ask a peer to edit your work. Make sure they sign their name on your sheet so I know it has been edited.
6. Pass in completed assignment to Ms. Fraser at the end of class with your name on it!
