Wednesday, Feb 18: Today, we began our Act 2- Role Playing Assignment. Performances are on Monday, Feb 23rd.
Monday, Feb 16 - Tuesday, Feb 17: We finished Act 1 and worked on comprehension questions. I also handed out the character brain sketch assignment. Due Date: TBA
Feb 12-13: We read Act 1, Scene 1 and 2. Please see powerpoint for any questions you may have missed.
Wednesday, Feb 11- Please read over your role in Romeo and Juliet and finish your Romeo and Juliet web quest.
Tuesday, Feb 10- We worked on a Romeo and Juliet web quest. Please click on the link under English 10 to view assignment.
Monday, Feb 9- We finished our Lit Circles and presented them to the class. We completed a group and self-evaulation on our work.
Friday, Feb 6- We were in Lit Circles today reading short stories and answering questions depending on our role. Please finish your role worksheet for Monday!
Thursday, Feb 5- Course Selection
Wednesday, Feb 4- Today, we had an elder come in and tell us stories about the Yukon. We also reviewed metaphors and were given plot diagram homework. Tomorrow is course selection day!
Tuesday, Feb 3- We learned about author's purpose and responded to the short story, Choices.
For homework, please read, The Metaphor, on page 65 of Inside Stories II and answer questions #2 and #5.
Monday, Feb 2- Today, we reviewed symbolism and worked on our English journals. For homework, please read Choices by Susan Kerslake from your Inside Stories II textbook.
Monday, January 26- Friday, January 30th- We are working on our short story unit.
Over the weekend, please read "Shaving" by Leslie Norris and answer the questions on symbolism.
