- We talked about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and analyzed situations in different countries to see if they fell under the Declaration or went against it. We then examined Women and Aboriginal Rights in Canada.

- Today we went to the MacBride Museum on a field trip.

- Today we talked about the immigration process in Canada and citizenship. Students practiced a citizenship test to see if they could gain permanent residency in Canada.

- Students completed worksheet 7.1 and 7.2.

- Today we learned about Saskatchewan and the government's push for people to move there. We did a Choose Your Own Adventure and then analyzed advertising photographs using this worksheet.

- We went to the library and worked on an assignment studying the Geography of the Klondike Gold Rush.
- Second class we watched a short film on Dawson and began working on chapter questions or a storyboard.
